Visiting Father Christmas at P&A Garden Centre, Mold

Merry Monday!

Oh, first off I know I haven’t blogged in ages and ages.

I seem to have lost my mojo (again, it happens at least once a month)

I had to share our trip to see Father Christmas though, we were so pleasantly surprised.

If you don’t know P&A Garden centre is the one opposite the Evening Leader building in Mold. Father Christmas is there this weekend (December 17th and 18th) between 1 and 3PM both Saturday and Sunday and if you are looking for a fun festive activity this could be just the thing.

The whole place is super festive with lights and decorations and Christmas trees being sold.

The other thing I liked was the kids were pretty free to run riot and explore while either Sam or I kept the place in line for them and I never felt like they were being watched by disapproving eyes. The kids were thrilled with the ‘snow’ and I thought that was a gorgeous touch and made it a bit more magical.

There were mince pies, cakes and mulled wine while we waited (about 10 minutes wait)

Father Christmas was tucked away in his grotto complete with roaring fire and was very chatty and enthusiastic. I think the girls would have stopped in there with him all day.

The children got some lovely little gifts that they were really pleased with so all in all it was a lovely trip, all for the price of £2, now that’s what I call Christmas spirit!
